The free planner brings your intended use, budget figures and questions into one worksheet. You can save a copy in your browser and download a brief to take into a viewing or a conversation with a professional. Figures come from your inputs; missing costs remain unknown.

Founder and business stage

Ari Steele started YachtClear in August 2026. It is currently a bootstrapped project, with incorporation pending; it is not yet a registered company. The platform is in early development, with broader yacht education and buyer collaboration tools being developed.

At Sea with Ari is Ari’s personal content and relationship channel. YachtClear is the buyer-facing platform; YachtieLink is a separate platform for yacht crew.

AI assistance we are developing

We are developing AI assistance to turn source-backed yacht research and your requirements into clear explanations, comparisons and a useful ownership brief. It is intended to help you understand the evidence, spot missing information and prepare better questions for a viewing or a professional.

This assistance is planned, not yet available in the public planner. The current worksheet uses the figures you enter. Yacht-specific costs still need actual quotes and checks, and personal advice stays with Ari and the appropriate professionals.

How the business is intended to work

The core education and planning tools are intended to remain free. The business plans to support selected owner’s-representative engagements, disclosed referral arrangements and brokerage through an established firm. These are separately agreed services, not a requirement for using the free tools.

Ari provides the human judgment in client work. General information and planning worksheets do not replace a survey, an actual quote or advice from the appropriate legal, tax or other specialist.
